Société Jersiaise
Our latest project has been the redevelopment of the website of the Société Jersiaise to provide a unified and consistent design using the Joomla! content management system.
In keeping with our philosphy of clean coding and accessible designs, we have implemented a modified version of the Joomla! CMS known as a8eJoomla, together with a number of customised extensions.
Features of the new Société Jersiaise website include Photo Galleries, a new Library Search facility, Events Calendar, upgraded Discussion Forum, improved Shop and multi-lingual support.
Peace Not War
Peace Not War is a non-profit cooperative based in London that distributes compilation albums of pro-peace music to raise funds for international peace groups.
hypertexture has been assisting Peace Not War with all of the online aspects of their work since 2005. In that time, we have:
- Consolidated the cooperative's data
- Implemented a custom MySpace profile
- Overseen the transition of the website and email to a new hosting provider
- Overhauled the design of the Peace Not War website
Future development is focused on a custom implementation of the Drupal CMS to create a dynamic multimedia website that promotes the aims of the cooperative to a wider audience.
myFamily
myFamily is a genealogy website for my own family that hypertexture.net has recently commenced. The foundation for the website is a deployment of The Next Generation genealogy software, which we will be customising and populating with existing genealogical and multimedia materials of my extended family.
